Bandwidth for Customer Premises Equipment
Ikanos’ customer premises equipment chipsets enable service providers to flexibility deploy high-speed broadband via VDSL2, VDSL, ADSL2+, ADSL2 or ADSL. This multi-mode functionality enables our chipsets to communicate and deliver service from existing DSLAMs and newly deployed VDSL2 DSLAMs for a cost-effective solution for deploying multimedia services.
Our standalone products include the Fx™100100S-5 which is capable of delivering symmetrical bandwidth of up to 100 Mbps to the customer at distances of approximately 1,000 feet. The Fx™10050S-5 is capable of up to 100 Mbps downstream and 50 Mbps upstream performance. And our Accelity™ DA87781 provides VDSL and VDSL2 performance ideal for asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) and packet-based client-side terminals.
In addition to our standalone products, Ikanos provide integrated devices including the Fusiv® Vx180, which reduces space and power requirements by combining our VDSL2 data pump with a high-performance processor onto a single chip. And the Capri™ CX96xxx family enables next-generation, wireless A/VDSL2 gateways, A/VDSL2 VoIP Integrated Access Devices (IADs), and A/VDSL2 bridges.
