Ikanos NodeScale Vectoring was short listed for the 2011 Broadband InfoVision Award at Broadband World Forum. This award was designed to showcase the products that offer the most significant new prospects for increasing revenue, managing costs, improving quality, and increasing satisfaction in the industry.
2011 IP&TV Industry Award
Ikanos NodeScale™ Vectoring DSL access technology is recognized with the Best Enabling Silicon, IP or Component Technologies for IP TV Award. This breakthrough DSL access technology enables 100 megabit per second (Mbps) performance and beyond, which is a speed that was previously unattainable in the vast majority of the world’s service provider networks.
2010 Communications Solutions Product of the Year
Recognized for outstanding innovation, the Ikanos Nodescale™ Vectoring technology is awarded TMC’s Communications Solutions 2010 Product of the Year. NodeScale Vectoring is Ikanos’ unique implementation of the ITU-T G.vector standard used to cancel crosstalk in copper lines enabling 100Mbps performance at 1/10th the cost of fiber.
2009 Communications Solutions Product of the Year
Recognized for outstanding innovation, the Ikanos Velocity™ broadband chipset is awarded TMC’s Communications Solutions 2009 Product of the Year. The Ikanos Velocity chipset is the industry’s lowest power product, with more than 30 percent power savings over competing offerings. The Ikanos Velocity chipset is the industry’s lowest power product, providing superior performance with more than 30 percent power savings over competing offerings. 2009 Innovations Award: Fixed Network Infrastucture
Ikanos – along with customers Alcatel-Lucent, Sagem Communications and service provider Belgacom – wins 2009 Innovations Award for The Broadway Project – a high-speed fiber/VDSL broadband network for the delivery of advanced triple play services across Belgium. The Global Telecoms Business Innovation Awards are designed to honor innovative projects involving telecommunications operators and service providers around the world, in association with their vendors and suppliers.
