Markets
As service providers expand their networks, broadband penetration is growing dramatically. By 2012, 647 million people worldwide will be online using ADSL, VDSL and PON, according to researchers at iSuppli. Nearly 20 percent of these subscribers will be consumers of IPTV services that require extreme bandwidth not just to – but throughout – the home. Ikanos products directly address this market opportunity.
